Demolition Racer

Demolition Racer is not just another car racing game. It is much more when it has demolition as a prefix. The game is simple with descent graphics to provide a descent racing experience. But what makes it interesting is the fact that you got to watch your back for damages caused by your wild enemies in the game around. Yes! It is fun that way.

There are more than one mode in the game like a campaign, race and missions. I loved the campaign wherein I started with a car amidst 20 other cards in an open ground like a baseball field. They all go crashing over and over again until they all burn out. It is with your talent you stay away from wild drivers and manage to save your car while scoring points in regular intervals. Besides the campaign, the race mode is just like a normal race, but with a flavor of demolition. Racers care more about saving their cars in addition to racing first.

The game features multiple cars in different categories, customization options to car and other usual settings. The best part of this game is its simplicity unlike other games with high graphics, but at the end of the day is not being played a lot! Try Demolition racers today and do let us know your thoughts. Go Demolishing! Go Racing!

GTR 2

GTR 2 is a sequel to GTR and is a game for people of all ages. Very few games succeed in realistically simulating car racing and GTR 2 makes an excellent effort to do so.

The game has got different game modes ranging from practices races and driving schools to championships and time trials. However the game offers very few challenges are available to unlock as the game progresses. The driving school is a special addition that allows the gamers to learn the latest racing techniques and make sure everything is set before stepping into the racing track. The driving schools also offers various rewards to be won based on small challenges.

The day and night switching can be experienced easily from the 24 hour races and the rate of change can be set in the game options. The publishers have made sure to obtain the license of leading car models such as BMW, Porsche, Ferrari and Lamborghini Murcielago to attract race lovers to buy this simulator. The game also contains tracks based on real world including the Dubai GP race track. The sound tracks are wonderful and pay attention to even minor details such as cracking of dusts and dirt.

The crashing of fast paced cars cannot be expected to be better than what this game offers. The details of the cars and tracks are highly engrossing and make you wonder. The designers have made sure to include a lot of turns and curves to add more feel to the game. Almost all the options can be adjusted including the tyre pressure. However for a novice these options would be very complex.

What the game lacks is easy-to-use menu options. Also the qualifier races are too hard for newbies. The system requirements are way too high for a normal PC gamer to enjoy this simulator. Once again hard work has paid off and no wonder GTR 2 won the best racing game of the year 2006 by IGN.
